Welcome to the 2026–2027 School Year!
As the principal of Aileen Colburn Elementary, I am excited to welcome our students, families, and staff to the 2026–2027 school year! I am honored to serve this incredible community and look forward to a year filled with learning, growth, collaboration, and celebration.
This year, our theme is Amped to Learn! Just as an amplifier powers a great rock concert, our collective energy, enthusiasm, and commitment will amplify learning and help every student reach new heights. Together, we will create an environment where curiosity is encouraged, challenges are embraced, and success is celebrated.
To our students: You are the heart of our school! Be ready to ask questions, take risks, discover your strengths, and embrace every opportunity to learn. Your unique talents make our school stronger, and we can't wait to see all that you accomplish this year.
To our parents and families: Thank you for being our partners in education. Your encouragement, involvement, and support make a tremendous difference in your child's success. Stay involved in campus life by supporting our recently established PAWS Parent Club.
The Aileen Colburn staff is committed to providing engaging, rigorous instruction and fostering meaningful connections that create the foundation for student success. I am grateful to work alongside such an exceptional team as we inspire greatness together.

¡Bienvenidos al Año Escolar 2026–2027!
Como director de la Escuela Primaria Aileen Colburn, me llena de entusiasmo dar la bienvenida a nuestros estudiantes, familias y personal al año escolar 2026–2027. Es un honor servir a esta extraordinaria comunidad y espero con ilusión un año lleno de aprendizaje, crecimiento, colaboración y celebración.
Este año, nuestro tema es ¡Amped to Learn! (¡Con toda la energía para aprender!) Así como un amplificador da potencia a un gran concierto de rock, nuestra energía, entusiasmo y compromiso colectivos fortalecerán el aprendizaje y ayudarán a cada estudiante a alcanzar nuevas metas. Juntos crearemos un ambiente donde se fomente la curiosidad, se acepten los desafíos y se celebren los logros.
Para nuestros estudiantes: ¡Ustedes son el corazón de nuestra escuela! Prepárense para hacer preguntas, asumir retos, descubrir sus fortalezas y aprovechar cada oportunidad para aprender. Sus talentos únicos hacen que nuestra escuela sea más fuerte, y estamos ansiosos por ver todo lo que lograrán este año.
Para nuestros padres y familias: Gracias por ser nuestros aliados en la educación. Su apoyo, participación y motivación marcan una gran diferencia en el éxito de sus hijos. Los invitamos a mantenerse involucrados en la vida escolar apoyando a nuestro recién establecido Club de Padres PAWS.
